How wildly and sadly true. We have "lionized" those whose only talents lie (pun intently intended) solely in shameless self-promotion.
Acumen, finesse, intelligence, sensitivity, and ability have all been thrown out of success's equation.
The fast-talkers grubbing for the quick-bucks have been handed the steering wheels all the way around.
And, look to what we've been driven.
To me, the change embodied by Obama
represents a long-awaited backlash to our country's shamefully blind trust on the guys who did nothing but talk the talk. To them, I say, keep walking... off a cliff.
